We started
our exchange on Thursday, 30th of March and went by train to Düsseldorf
Airport. Afterwards we flew by plane to Riga, Letvia and drove by bus to
Kanepi.
After we
arrived at Kanepi, the teachers house from Eda Tarend was shown by our exchange
student Kristiina Roth. The very small House is near the school, Supermarket
and the church of Kanepi.
When we
looked out of the window on friday, we saw the snow in the garden. Mrs Tarend told us, that this weather
is typical for the spring in Estonia. Mrs Luts
made an interesting guided tour through the school. At 10 o´ clock the
mayor from Kanepi welcomed us in his Government House. Furthermore, we had some
nature games in the forest. In the evening, Silas, Tim, our exchange students
and us, were in a Bowling Centre in Põlva, which was very funny.
Next day in
the morning we drove to Tartu by bus. First we saw the firefighter parade, who
were playing traditional Music. After
that we were in the Toomemäe Park and went shopping.
Sunday
morning was a Snake Workshop, before we went in 2 musuems. On Monday we had
together with our Estonian exchange students some lessons. Afer we had lunch,
there was a basketball match. And at the evening with a traditional
celebration. The visit in AHHAA was interesting and after that we went
swimming. Also we had the chance to go in some saunas. On Wednesday we were in
