Our trip to Estonia

We, Josefine and Nane, visited Estonia from 30.03. to 07.04.2017 and stayed in the family from Demi Varaask. We lived in a nice house which is about five minutes away from school if you take the car. 

We started our trip at Bielefeld train station. From there we went to Düsseldorf airport. Our plane landed in Riga, the capital from Latvia. Afterwards we continued our trip by bus and reached Kanepi at half past ten. 

Seeing Demi again made us really happy! Also her family welcomed us hearty and made our stay in Estonia unique.The house which has a lake behind it is quite beautiful. We shared a room with Demi. That was really nice because we could talk to her whenever we wanted to. Her mother treated us like her own children. She speaks a litte bit german which was great too.

Compared to our school in Werther the one in Kanepi has less students but the building is as big as our school.

Our favourite trip was the one to the river Võhandu. We did a kind of rafting on that day. The weather was quite nice and we had a lot of fun in our boat. But we were also happy when we reached the end of the tour because it was really hard.

All in all we enjoyed our trip to Kanepi and we will keep our experiences in mind. We are looking forward to see all of our new friends again and are thankful for everything the family did for us.
