Exchange Germany- Estonia
In the family of Keitlin Kõoleth
When we just
arrived in Estonia in Kanepi, we were surprised that the city is so small but
even has got a school which is quiet big. The courses are very different to our
school in Germany, because here there are only 15-20 students in one grade and
in Germany there are about 90-110 in one grade. We really enjoied the school
bell, because it has got such an nice sound. In Germany there is only a boring
school bell. The age is also different than in Germany, because in Estonia the
children go to scholl when they are 7 and in Germany when there are 5 or 6
years old. The lessons were very relaxed especially the music lessson where we
only sang something. On the first morning, when we waked up, all was covered in
snow and we were so excited, because in Germany we normaly don`t have snow in
april.
We were
heartly welcomed an we felt very great and like being home. The family was very
nice and cared a lot about us. We felt very well. Everytime we got hungry they
made something really great to eat for us. At least we are a litte bit sad to
go home to German, because we had such a Gerat time there.
Even Kanepi
is a small town it has got a beautiful nature with woods and lakes and a
supermarket where we bought sometimes something to drink or to eat in the
breaks.
But Estonia
has got also larger cities like Tartu, where we went shopping on Saturday.
There we met a good friend from Germany who is doing an one year Exchange to
Estonia. It was very exicited and we are very grateful that our host family
made this possible.
Even we are
happy to see our real family again we are sad to leave Estonia and hope that
we could come back once in our life.
I'm very happy that you enyojed being here! :) <3
